What is Angry Phone?
Angry Phone is a novelty web app that uses your device's motion sensors to detect shaking, dropping, and tapping, then responds with humorous reactions. That's it. It's silly.
Data we collect
Angry Phone does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. Specifically:
- No accounts. There is no login, registration, or user profile.
- No analytics. We do not use any analytics or tracking tools.
- No motion data stored. Accelerometer and gyroscope readings are processed locally in your browser and never leave your device.
- No cookies (from us). The only cookie-like storage we use is a localStorage flag to remember your cookie consent preference.
Third-party advertising
We may display ads served by Google AdSense. If you accept cookies, Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.
Google's use of advertising cookies is governed by their own Privacy Policy.
Device permissions
The app requests access to your device's motion sensors (accelerometer and gyroscope) and optionally the Battery Status API. This data is processed entirely in your browser. We never see it.
Speech synthesis
The app uses your browser's built-in text-to-speech engine. No audio is recorded or transmitted.
Children's privacy
Angry Phone is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Since we don't collect personal data, there's nothing to access, correct, or delete. If you accepted cookies for advertising, you can clear them in your browser settings at any time.
